Judging by one of the pictures, it would probably be finicky to zip up at the least. For $150, I would be fine with that though.
I also received an offer for $350. $150 was a very low price, and I guess they realized that. $350 is a bit overpriced though, in my opinion. A bit of an overcorrection.
I have a Vanson Deluxe Highwayman in size 52 I've not gotten around to listing on Ebay yet. Not the best pictures (it gets dark early now). I'll probably start putting things on there in a week or so. Overall good condition. It is missing the belt, and the lining is torn at the right armpit area.
Awesome. I had one I sold a year ago. A bit of a different style, though. Much too large. Instant buy if it was in my size. Heaviest jacket I've ever come across. Maybe not as stiff as Vanson comp weight or a nice Cal, but I think I weighed it at 13 pounds? Wish we saw more Branded styles than...
I’d love to hear about this when you get the chance.
I’ve always wanted to learn more about ABC leathers. If I’m remembering correctly, they predate Bates? But they were either absorbed by Bates, or they died out sometime before the internet came around.

I wouldn’t be too concerned about the sleeve cuffs, honestly, as long as the rest of the jacket is fine. Cuffs always get a lot of wear.
Digging this Vanson for $175 shipped, but it has patches on the sleeve and back that ruin the deal for me. https://www.ebay.com/itm/294396612631?
It's their take on a Swedish motorcycle jacket. I have none seen a brown one before. They no longer make them. Be aware, at least in my experience...
I acquired a jacket recently that's a bit wrinkled. Nothing too severe like some of those jackets from bales, but I would like to make it look a bit neater before I list it on Ebay. Any ideas how to reduce the wrinkling? I've seen some suggestions to give it a wash and try to smooth it out while...
The front snaps on the chests are likely for the collar, unzipped / less zipped up, while the snaps around the collar are for the attachment of a mouton collar.
I have more pics if you want. Had to get a closer picture of the label to confirm what it was. The big main zip is YKK, so obviously that's been replaced, but it doesn't look like a bad fix.
Beck HH Northeastern Flying Togs, $400. 1940s - 1950s. Measurements on site: https://highclasshillbilly.com/products/1970s-black-leather-motorcycle-jacket
Not really sure if this is a deal or just a nice find. I haven't been able to find any comparable pricing because this model seems more...
Got a sheepskin vest in the other day that has a slight odor. Nothing too bad, but I would like to reduce it anyway. Any issues with using vinegar? I assume the leather would be fine, just not sure about the shearling interior.
I shared that police jacket here a long time ago. I think it was only $40 at the time. Wasn't sure of the brand here and didn't hear anything from anyone else, but it is at least 60s? or 70s era due to the Talon teardrop zips.
$300 Lost Worlds HH trucker, size 36. Probably around $400 total with shipping. They cost $1500 new now, so still a solid discount. Grain looks nice.

The cracking looks pretty bad. Not unwearable, but it'll probably take a notable price hit for that. Honestly, the seller has accepted offers in the past, and I wonder if a $200-$300 offer would theoretically be accepted before the auction ends.
Not my style, but a nice condition Fieldmaster long jacket. $220 shipped. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1048650025/vintage-xl-fieldmaster-genuine-steer?
Picked up this today. Probably will be a bit too small - size 36, vintage, but I've been wanting to try an older zip up Wrangler for awhile, so we'll see!
Good luck with this. I'm curious and excited to see how it turns out. I posted here about trying to make a jacket in this style and was warned off by a couple people - quite warranted, given that I've not had a single jacket made by Shawn, but I think it might be worth an effort by someone who...
