Older Brent, maybe 60s? Objectively, this jacket is not my best at all... hem of the main zip is totally busted, stitches are weird in the action back, various scuffs. Worst part is that the jacket used to be black! Someone dyed with a permanent brown dye, so any chance of a meaningful patina is...
The jacket does look nice. I saw this listing right a couple weeks back, but the seller didn't want to ship. Great deal if you can pick up locally, just be prepared to put in some TLC to clean up the mildew / mold. Hope it works out for you!
Just wanted to bump this thread since the auction will be ending this evening. If someone here does end up winning, please feel free to message me (we can cancel the ebay sale and I'd tack on a 12.9% discount, since that's how much ebay would take as part of the exchange).
Here you go:

Cheap Branded, size 36. Might shoot an offer myself if it doesn't sell for awhile. Has some surface wear, though, and it doesn't really look as impressive as some other Branded hides.
Hi folks,
Quick listing here. I have this on ebay at a starting price of $100. I can offer a discount if a lounger wins the auction on Ebay (we would just cancel the transaction and finish it without buyer/seller fees at a lower price) or I could sell it now for the price of $235 shipped. I can...
I saw this a little while ago and offered to pay for shipping - no dice. Maybe the seller would consider it again since it's still be listed for several weeks.
That's my listing, haha. It's in rough condition so I just started the auction at $100 and went from there. I hope the buyer will be able to fix it up!

Really nice looking Branded Garments jacket in Arcata, CA, for $160 or B/O. Not sure if seller will ship.
IMO, this is the type of flipping that really goes against the spirit of the lounge. If you buy something here for a good price, you should be willing to sell it for a similar fair price. Maybe not identical, I get there is time involved and shipping expenses to consider, but it's not the sort...
Just to quickly summarize my general thoughts:
Flipping is a common marketplace transaction and happens a lot. I've gotten some jackets at steal prices, but when I sell them here, I do my best to adhere to the market value. For example, if I got a Bates jacket for $100, and most people are...
There's an ongoing discussion on jacket flipping in a classified listing right now. I think it's an interesting topic and one I've wondered what TFL's attitude would be, as I do a decent amount of flipping when I have the time - although typically on Ebay. Regardless of one's thoughts towards...
Hi folks,
Selling this one out of my own closet. I don't wear it enough nearly enough as it deserves, and the cash could go to better things right now. I'll list it on Ebay shortly, but I figured I'd post here in advance. This is a really plush jacket - it's noticeably heavy, but the leather...

Vanek police jacket, 21 p2p, seller open to offers. Not sure how good the value is, but I don't see many of these jackets around and I've heard really good stuff...
I've handled a number of Cals and a couple Langlitz for resale purposes. I've never really been super impressed with the hides I see on Langlitz jackets, even when I'm able to sell their jackets for top dollar. I've seen some Cals with mediocre hides (I have one I'm listing soon right now!), but...
A straight 23".
I live in NC. Definitely no musty odors, but it does have an unusual vintage smell I'm not really able to identify. The only time I've detected this smell in the smell was on a similar era police jacket from Buco. Kind of rubbery? Hard to describe a smell, really, but not "bad"...
Hi all,
Just listed this one on Ebay, would obviously prefer to sell it here to avoid their fees. Excellent condition 1950s era Cycle Champ jacket. No cracking or damage to leather. Great grain.
Only flaws to note:
1) Chest and sleeve zippers work smoothly. All other zippers are a bit...
