Jackets
I am hoping that I have an economically viable project...To use the best materials, zippers, liners and techniques has driven the cost of my jackets to Real McCoy levels...Im trying to figure out a sustainable sales model
Hmmm...where I am at
I just got back from a month away in Asia and Los Angeles where I did Rin Tanaka's Inspiration Show. Ive been working on my website and trying to work out the branding surrounding my jacket projects and what is economically viable.
Regarding horsehide..again I work...
My dad spent most of his time in school became a doctor....I think me being in "Scmata" disappointed him. My grandfather was in the sportswear business. He manufactured sportswear for years before his death in 1966. I was alive 3 months when he died so I figure that is what led to my clothing...

Im always in need of rare photos of pre ww2 American, Canadian and British jackets. I am also looking for discussion, stories and pictures that I can use regarding motorcycling and motorcyclists and motorcycle clubs from 1975 and before so if you have any good ones send them along...
your coat
Dealing in Vintage clothing most of my life...looks like a small production 30s jacket. Simple collar shape is typical of many shawl collars of 1930s leather jackets..that shape disappeared in the 1940s. Also the chinstrap is a dead giveaway...the chinstrap is vaguely reminiscent of...
huh
Im pretty sure that is not what I was saying. I dont think that I or anybody else into serious leather would want to buy a Chinese horsehide or leather. Like my bbq that I purchased last year for 700 dollars that disintegrated in 8 months I have had my fill of crap made by exploited...
Hatmaking
Once again
lilliput hats in Toronto at the corner of College and Bathurst is actively making hats, in the open. The owner is a very nice woman and would probably be happy to help you learn the hat making trade. She is a custom haberdasher for almost 20 years and is in her 40s...
