This article talks about the processes used to finish sanforized denim: singeing, mercerizing, and calendaring. Unsanforized denim isn’t subject to most/all of these processes.

There’s no wrong choice. Some like unsanforized for certain reasons, while others prefer sanforized for other reasons. I’m an unsanforized guy, but I do love my Iron Heart 634s 21oz.
I also prefer unsanforized. For me, the most important part jeans is the fabric itself and the less treated, the better. And given the choice between unsanforized 1-wash and unsanforized raw, I'll take the latter every time.
I'm 5'6" 165 with a size 33" waist and I have a chopper in a Medium: https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/my-new-vanson-chopper.77944/#post-1807639
I like my jackets to be slim fitting but not tight. I think yours fits perfectly. Agree that the leather will loosen up over time and use --...
We're roughly the same build (although I wish I had your waist size) so this might help. I'm 5'6" 165 and i wear a 33/30 in most denim. I have a sz 38 cafe racer in FQHH with the full bi-swing back (not just the shoulder gussets) and a sz 42 Seven in Vicenza with no shoulder gussets
Armholes...
I'm speaking for myself here, but I don't like my footwear to be matchy matchy with my outerwear -- IMO it looks costumey and like you're trying too hard. Respectfully disagree with dudewuttheheck: I think Iron Rangers (e.g., 8111s) look good with just about anything, and I think the Chippewa...
When I'm in the market for a jacket, it's probably 70% looks and 30% functionality. One odd thing though--and forgive me for getting philosophical--is that once I have a jacket, I don't need to wear it often to enjoy it. I don't really know why. I keep my leather jackets on the closet floor...
Looks great! Wasn't that into that jacket when I first saw it on Aero's site, but the more and more I looked at it, it really grew on me. Well done. We'll need more pics though
If you live in California, it's now illegal for businesses to sell kangaroo leather here, and online retailers can't ship it here either. I play soccer and I can no longer get my beloved kangaroo leather boots
What a coincidence. I was just looking online at the Greaser yesterday! The next pair I'm looking for (I don't really need anymore denim) is a full cut, cinch back from Full Count, Samurai, or Warehouse
The fit it simply perfect. Great design choices, especially the yoke and brass hardware. RW 2966s looking good too (i've got about 7 wears on my new pair). What denim are you wearing? I'm a bit of a Japanese denim fanatic.
Looking good Carlos. I’ve had my chopper about 5 years now and it’s starting to develop some nice grain. The squeakiness is still there but a lot less than when it was new. Agree about the fit — it’s slightly awkward when standing up but everything falls into place when I’m on the motorbike...
If anyone's interested, here are Thurston's photos of the jacket:
