I recently purchased a RMC N-1 and noticed that it is slightly itchy. Not a dealbreaker, but I'm curious how similar the linings are between RMC and Iron Heart since I was considering grabbing one of their deck jackets.
I noticed that RMC says "Alpaca" while Iron heart says "80% wool/20%...
I'm in DC, so it doesn't get extraordinarily cold. I probably won't be layering beyond a sweater or flannel on most occasions. I'm going to throw on some of my normal layering gear tonight to see how it feels and looks.

I'm thinking functionality vs. aesthetics is more important for a jacket like this. That being said, if I could get away with sizing down one, I would. I'll add the sizing differences in the post, but it looks like shoulders would come in an inch, sleeves about .75 inches, and the length a bit...
I picked up this size 38 RMC N-1, but I'm wondering if I should size down one. I'm 5'6" and 150 lbs. The chest and length seem fine, but the shoulders and sleeves are a bit large. It looks like sizing down might bring the chest in by a out 2 inches. Any thoughts or familiarity with their sizing...
