If you take a look at catalogues from the era in the 30s and 40s or even 50s a lot of the jackets are pictures with men wearing dress pleated trousers, dress shoes (Derby shoes mind you) and ties. Also not every jacket was short even in our prefered shorter styles.

Regular coat hangers are perfectly fine for leather jackets as long as they're thick and the right size. Your shoulders aren't straight either, the creases will appear anyway if your jacket patterns is made a certain way.

At first I was like “Oh, Shit! I’ve broken the zipper or it came broken and I didn’t see it in the pics” but then understood that you need to put the pin deep into the female side and zips perfectly. I was able to zip and unzip safely doing it wrong though, weird thing!

Thanks! I live in it when it's cold but this is one tough jacket to break in with the corduroy/wool and leather details! Still looks like new but has seen lots of wear.
