You just have to accept that anything you buy from the UK will have a lot of money on top to add when paying customs. Either accept it or move on from the UK market. That's how it is, thank the brexiters!
These big business have discounts for volume.
When I asked Belafonte to ship the boots to me by DHL or FedEx they also quoted me like 200-300€ of shipping. So I used EMS instead and it was a lot slower but boots arrived in the end and saved a lot of money that went into paying custom duties...
It nevers ceases to amaze me how people here see their leather jackets as inmvestments instead of clothes to enjoy wearing.
I couldn't care less if the resale value of my leather jackets is less. It's usually what happens with used clothing and no one really is bothered by it.
I never buy...
What is going on here?
Is soneone drunk and writing?
Bartender Comment: I think it might be a case of 'suicide by mod'. Dealt with now - you should all be able to carry on uninterrupted.
Why the obsession about closing threads? Can't people handle a discussion or debate online anymore?
This is really getting annoying now. Editing member's posts? How great. One can no longer voice an opinion in this forum without being censored apparently.
As I mentioned in another thread my...
Thanks for the informative post. Not acceptable at the price point and I’m one that isn’t obsessed with laser perfect stitching.
Bartender Edit: Let's not go over this all again, please. The matter is now closed.
Nice! I stopped participating in some vintage FB groups because of overzelaous admins and now it looks like the safe haven that was TFL outerwear is going in the same direction, censor and delete threads/posts.
You don't want the outerwear section to end up like the vintage subforum, a desert...
I still don't understand why delivery companies leave packages unatended at people's home
What the actual hell is wrong with them? You aren't home, they leave a not and they bring it back to their office and you go pick it up from the office.
It's not so difficult!

People tend to forget about the costs of having people working for you. You must give them a living salary and still be...
Can you post a picture of what you're refering to? I wonder if that becomes more visible with wear which would be the reason why @ton312 jackets don't have it :D Just kidding but to be honest the jackets get sold so fast we never get to see wear on them!
Regarding @himelator and @Parker HBL...
There's currently a green Freewheelers version for sale in Japan. I'm not sure why but I'm very tempted, the problem is that it doesn't match any of my wardrobe pieces so I won't buy it. It's too 70s for my style.
I think people need to realize that there are "aesthetical" mistakes and then there's "construction" mistakes. What I mean is that if the wonky stitching or seams don't affect the strenght of the jacket then it's a flaw, an ugly one but not critical to the integrity of the jacket.
Should a...
I know you said you aren't satisfied but is it really that bad that you won't wear it?
That seems really extreme. I don't remember the jacket fitting you bad or anything like that. I can't speak for the flaws because I don't remember either seeing any glaring deffect.
For example in my case...
