Got it. I would ask for a little front drop, but keep the zipper where it is. There is a lot going on with this design, and you are right to order it in a thinner hide.

I would stay with medium weight leathers in the style you've selected. The sleeves are slim on these Premier jackets, and the CXL in regular weight can be a bit much. I live in LA for reference.

Don't put it in the machine! use your tub and hand-wash it if you must. Lay it to dry in a cool place for a week or so
I sprayed mine with vinegar & water first and hung it outside in the shade for a week or so first.
