    I would stay with medium weight leathers in the style you've selected. The sleeves are slim on these Premier jackets, and the CXL in regular weight can be a bit much. I live in LA for reference.

    Lighter than Aero Horween. About the same as my Shinki GW. I think the jacket was about 5 lbs.

    San Francisco Bay Area- I live in LA, but have been working up in Marin, just North of the Golden Gate Bridge. Last week the temps were still below 60 in the mornings. Even in June, I was wearing my puffer outside.

    They'll do small quantities?!? Waldes unfinished brass is great! It tarnishes like old vintage ones. Your "little' singer won't do leather very well without a walking foot.

    Don't put it in the machine! use your tub and hand-wash it if you must. Lay it to dry in a cool place for a week or so I sprayed mine with vinegar & water first and hung it outside in the shade for a week or so first.
