You got me laughing out loud with this one. Well judging by the way it fits, you're fortunate to have a body type that works with OTR. I've got a few mall brand jackets myself. But from other members comments it appears all your jackets fit you well lol. Rock on at Auntie Ann's pretzels
+1 to that personally. When I buy something (In particular, expensive lifelong lasting quality clothing) I purchased it because I plan on wearing it forever. But I get it for those members who enjoy the life of selling/trading so they always get to have something different or new. Different Strokes!
If you prefer the Johnny Cash man in black look, it appears SLH is also releasing the "Chiodo" in black Vicenza steerhide with black shearling collar. I like the variety they're offering.
Even Taylor Stitch has released other waxed canvas jackets that they claim have no waxy residue hand feel. So it just depends on how it was made. I think they market it as a "dry wax".
Depends on where you are located. I know there are some retailers in California that carry Freenote. Rogue...
I really love this jacket. I've had me eye on several Freenote jackets for a while now but they are so damn expensive.
I have a waxed canvas parka from Taylor stitch in slate grey. It's probably one of my most complemented jackets that I own. The material is from Halley Stevensons. If you rub...
Thank you for sharing Jeo. I'm glad to hear that you still enjoy this jacket and I would wager that you get plenty of complements when wearing it. Non-enthusiast wouldn't even know where to look to determine if it was a great or poorly manufactured product. However... that is not an excuse at...
Awesome jacket. Do you know the hem and sleeve measurements from the center of the collar to cuff? Think the sleeves might be a couple inches too long for me
That would be cool! Are you familiar with Dehen 1920 out of Portland? They have some cool N-1 Deck Jackets and Wool Flyer's Jackets. I recently picked up this bad boy

Hell yes Marco! Your response is what makes successful companies flourish. You listen to your clients/potential clients and willing to make any necessary changes. It 100% confirms my purchases with SLH. Look forward to seeing all your new releases.
Cheers!
I believe we are all in agreement that the design and materials used are mint but the D pocket could definitely use some refinement.
BTW, Marco shared with me some sneak peak pics from their recent photo shoot for their new lineup of jackets. He said the Chiodo will be available in April.
