I know right?! The front body and sleeves have started breaking in nicely but the back is still pretty stiff. Not much movement occurring on that part of the jacket so I suppose that's to be expected.
Yeah their stock photos aren't very flattering IMO but the jackets are cut a little boxy / more room in the mid section. Here's some pics of my flyers jacket. Sorry for the shit lighting, it's raining here in KC. If you don't pull down the bottom of the jacket the elastic bottom can lift up and...
You know I dig the fur, FUR-SUREEE! The color combo of that jacket is awesome.
I always assumed you were straight babyface underneath that mask! Looks like I was wrong haha. A silver lining of mask.. you don't always have to shave.
Hell yeah! Love that jacket. I have 3 long haul jackets myself (posted it here yesterday). The cone mills denim jacket was actually made in America as well but yeah the majority of their stuff isn't made in the USA anymore.
Preach brotha! I would love to add a pair of Oni and Samurai to my collection. But as we all know, it's an expensive hobby and I already have a solid rotation.
Oh wow, I didn't know that about the zippers. Thanks for the history listen as that is very cool. "Easier access" HAHA
I unfortunately don't know how to sew so you got me on that one!
I'm still a noob to the leather jacket genre (learned a lot here at TFL) but I would have to agree with you on the rabbithole with denim. There are so many different options and styles. You are into repro and non-slim fitting. Where I prefer a slim fit and into all the little hidden details they...
Oh it's definitely an easy rabbithole to go down. And to your earlier point, the denim definitely doesn't start out very comfortable in comparison to your mall brand jeans. A large reason is the starch they put on the jeans to help with manufacturing and some denimheads even add more starch to...
Some denim shrinks more than others but if you buy the jeans "one wash" from the retailer you will be fine as almost all the shrink is already occurred. I buy most of my denim in a "one wash" instead or raw or unsanforized. It just takes the guess work out of sizing. I had railcar hem my jeans...
Yeah, I see what you mean. The last picture isn't too bad but the third you can see the little excess leather. WAY WAY better than before though. It's still an overall great fitting jacket though. Rock the shit out of it brotha!
