hey all, has anybody ever purchased the RAF sheepskin jacket (the red one) from flightjacket.com/ us authentics? I'm trying to find some irl pics but it isn't easy aside from one video, but it would be swell to see more
if there is, how can i fix it properly? should i take it to a specialist? either way i have some weiman's 3 in 1 conditioner i was thinking of applying prior to putting it away for summer
there's a parcel stuck with dhl for over 2 weeks, it's a sheepskin leather coat that was shipped in a plastic bag and a cardboard box.
is there a risk of mold or something developing on the jacket? dhl doesn;t know what's going on with it
sorry to bump this thread
i bought and ended up returning the schott, i do not know if you've seen the recent ones but the leather is soooooo thin and cheap feeling. it is not the same at all
i bought this cockpit b3 from a few years ago and it's much better in terms of warmth and thickness...
selling my schott b3 257s. Wore it for only a month but I dislike how bad it's distressing, so be aware of the massive amount of scratches. Can post more pics if requested, see link to imgur
Hoping to sell to somebody in Canada, free shipping or of course, local pick up. Asking 1200$ CAD
for...
2 things
1. can somebody recommend a good way to store a sheepskin b3 for the summer?
2. Does all lamb and sheep leather contain lanolin? does it dissolve over time and do i need to re-apply?
gotcha, thanks for the information. I don't want a repro though, unfortunately or I would 100% go for the eastman. I wanted something more functional so I want side entry pockets
does anybody have experience with both schott and cockpit usa's current b3? I had the owner of legendary USA tell me schott isn't very good anymore and the one i bought is distressing like crazy. I want to sell it but it already looks 20 years old in the front and i've had it for 2 months with...
got some cowhide here to make a jacket, i like the more uniform pattern on the bottom one. will this leather darken over time? i would prefer a shade darker but it's very difficult to acquire
is there a way to prevent scratches and natural patina? I like the color of my new schott b3 as it is and I want to minimize 'wear and tear' and keep it shiny and new
oh no doubt. it's crazy. I suppose i am 'lucky' since i have a chronic illness so my specialist is usually available in decent time frames.
you CANNOT get sick in these times. a buddy of mine was suffering from severe blockage and waited screaming in the ER for over 10 hours
