I was given a great suggestion some time ago, to take digital pictures as I take something down, it does help.

Actually, I live in a really nice neighborhood. But, I make my living as a Parole Agent on a high risk unit. I have had several threats against my family, so as a former scout, I am prepared.

Hey! I like that a lot! The 12/12 is now doing duty at one end of the house and an 870 at the other end.

Here's a family pic, a 1920 16 Gauge and 1952 12 Gauge: ...and yes, I know I need a 20 and a 28 to finish these off. The 20 Gauge will happen, but I really doubt I will ever be able to afford a 28!

In honor of Renault, I present my latest pickup, a 1952 Winchester Model 12, still trying to find out if this was a factory barrel or modified.

Thanks for the great pics guys! Cheered me up anyway. I did get some very nice grips in the mail today for a Sig P229R, dressed it up quite nicely!

This is my second Model 12, I already have a 16 Gauge. And yes, I know now I will have to start looking for a 20..... This one is a little strange, as it has a barrel that is riot/trench length, but has rifle sights on it. I mean real sights, like you find on a Model 70. Smooth bore, Cylinder...

While not a gun itself, just got this A. E. Nelson holster for my Sig 220, what nice work and superbly heavy leather.

I have to give credit to the AR for helping me enjoy shooting long guns again. I broke my back and neck 10+years ago and it became very uncomfortable to shoot my full power WW2 rifles. The mild recoil of the AR has let me enjoy this again.
