I wouldn't even bother trying to work with the deadbeat trying to sell you a fake jacket. Dishonest from the start means he'll continue to be dishonest with you if you try to work with them.
That's by "Wested". ;)
Speaking of which, I ordered the new Wested Dial of Destiny jacket as I just couldn't resist the leather they sourced for it, especially when you can very easily get it to look like the example below:
I agree. Vicenza and Badalassi are pretty much the same weight in my experience. I'm not sure how much lighter the board racer wears, but outside of the collar I don't believe there are any differences. I'm afraid you'll need to go with a lambskin or something like that if you want lighter.
Damn Marc, this was the exact model I was planning on ordering from Thedi last year until life got in the way. I would order it shorter though, but damn, it's incredible on you.
Damn, this is stunning. Here I am about to order an Outlaw vest from Aero and I figured I'd pop on over to the forum that I have been avoiding on purpose for a while (whispers "I don't need more jackets, even though I want them"). This would be a perfect substitution if not for the length and...
Hey Sean. I actually have a Ridley in size 42 that I'm looking to sell if you're interested. It's dark seal vicenza horsehide, with detachable belt, antique brass zippers and snaps, olive thread, olive cotton lining, zippers on top of sleeves. I purchased it from Thurston Bros about 2 years...

The loose grain in that spot mostly wouldn't be a problem for me, but ONLY if the same panels on both sides of both boots had the same loose grain. Considering that every other panel on your boots has smooth, tight grain I would definitely not be happy with those.
No, she won't do that. That's not how it works. You have to buy and once you buy, you are committed. You can only exchange and/or use it as a fit jacket.
I love all of Upstate NY as well. Went comping every year in 1,000 Islands. My dad died before we ever ended up purchasing a summer home up there, but my mom now has owned a trailer up there for about 10 years and goes up for the summers.
My Dad grew up in Buffalo (Williamsville) before moving back to New Jersey (where he was born). My aunt stayed, married, had a family there (Tonawanda). Only one of her three kids ended up staying in Buffalo, but I still have at least that connection up there. I love it up there and actually...
At the moment, nothing. Instead I have more of a "why did I buy this stupid thing?" feeling when I pre-order something. Then when it finally gets delivered I remember why :)
Here is a peak into my other hobby:
