It is very nice and soft but substantial. Vanson confirmed it was from the 70s and that cowhide was particularly good then. It was a lucky find. Smells fabulous too.- Leither

Vanson just confirmed that this is an early Model F in the high quality cowhide of the time. The Model F was first designed in 1976 so this must be an early one. Officially my oldest jacket but looks like new. A keeper.- Leither
