Figured I would throw this out there as some of you may have one of these laying around. Previously owned one in a size 40 but I grew out of it and passed it on. I really loved that thing. I've been lurking the usual places for one but they are all either overpriced or missing the mark...
Me neither. I have a Comet PLU-3 in the older comp weight, size 40. It's a stunner. Going to go home and do some measuring tonight to see how this one stacks up. If it seems like this coat gives a little more wiggle room than the Comet I might pull the trigger. It's a screamin' deal...
I've got a Vanson PLU-3 and the first owner removed them...but a less involved process since the gussets weren't stitched into the liner. On that coat you could just do it yourself with a razor and steady hand. I may look into it!
My perfecto journey was a long one to find the right style and fit. I'm a pretty solid size 40 so a 38 in 118 seemed like a pretty solid bet. Problem is that the 38 is one inch shorter in the body than a 40. Their long sizes add 2 inches in the body and one inch in the sleeves. So I ended up...

Thought I had a pic of the back in the listing, just updated that and here it is. Gotta find my tape measure, PM me with exactly the measurements you'd like to see and I'll get that done later.
Cleaning out the closet to fund purchase of a proper cross-zip to use on my bike. All items listed on Ebay but willing to wheel and deal a little here on the lounge.
Brooks Gold Label Size 40 - $185 shipped in CONUS
Good example of the style. The collar on this one seems a little unique...
