    If you want a Schott, the 141 comes in long sizes, which I believe adds 2" in the body and one in the sleeves.

    The Durojac (518) coats weren't made with the naked cowhide or the steerhide as with the 118 and 618. It was a lower quality hide that was actually pressed to give it a "grainy" texture. I don't believe they had the underarm footballs as the others either. Still the same quality lining...

    Fit is pretty spot on. I can still fit into a 40 in this style but JUST barely. This size works with a t shirt but could also squeeze a sweater or hoodie under it if I wanted.

    I won this for $150 and it arrived over the weekend. It's very nearly a deadstock jacket. If not for the yellowing and aging on the size and care tags I'd think it was brand new. Seriously looks like it was worn once and put away. Not even a single tick in the lining.

    Had one forever in a 40 but got a little tight and moved it along. These are great easy to wear jackets. My Vanson PLU3 in the old comp weight will always be my favorite cafe, but I always found myself reaching for the Brooks more.

    I can't really comment on how long it should or shouldn't be. I do know that according to the manufacturer the back length of a size 38 118 is 25 inches with Long sizes adding two inches to that. I'll double check this tonight but I'm pretty sure mine is 26 from the collar seam (top of collar)...
