    I had one of these that was labeled xl. No number. It was wearable but a little tight. Seems same size as. your 44. I sold it to ton312 when I found an XXL which seems to be a true 42 or slim 44 so interesting on the got between numbered sizes and lettered sizes. These are amazing jackets...
