    Might be worth mentioning; I have a size 42 from the same era (same hide), which fits just like a modern day size 42 jacket.     Thanks, that’s a nice offer. I wasn’t thinking about buying any more jackets - I don’t even wear the ones I have enough! But then the LW Jean Jacket found me & I was thinking last night that I wouldn’t mind an updated cafe racer / j100..... I think I might be affected with the Jacketeer’s disease.

    Appears to be spot on. Only you will know though. Experience has taught me that if it’s not right, right away, it rarely gets better by wearing it in. Again, I think it looks great.
