    I ordered mine with the leather lining(by the way it's £10 per boot), and when I went to collect them they had forgotten to do this, however after trying them on I was still delighted so didn't really mind, they really are extremely tough but comfortable boots! D

    I don't think that there is much difference in the warmth of the lightweight (Riever) tartans and cotton drill, and wool is much harder wearing than you may think. D

    I prefer option 3(studs) however I think that the extra use over the hidden studs on an A2 collar may lead to excessive wear on the leather and would need a repairing after a few years, that wouldn't look good, for that reason I'd go for exposed studs! D
