I have a pair of the 107F Zug grain boots, they are very solid boots took a while to break in and they are made as boots were 100 years ago, they are great value for money!

I too have a 46 chest and took their advice to go a size up (XL), personally I'm glad I did as it still fits quite neatly and I would have found a size L far too restrictive.

both old-town.co.uk and darcyclothing.com do a couple of different style trousers with only suspender buttons, both are good quality the old town ones are probably the best!

I have a pair of 107F's and believe me the toe is extremely solid, unless you are in a position where a forklift truck is likely to run over your toes!! I think you will find it offers all the protection you are likely to need.
