Hi Matt,
I think once it softens up and the sleeves shorten it will be fine, wear it as often as possible even sitting about the house and it will soon break in, it is a very handsome jacket!

Hi jpk,
I can have a photo taken and send it to you, I'm not sure how to do this on the forum , but can send it in an email if you let me have your email address.

I had my Stockman made with the pockets from the Long Halfbelt, I'd seen jackets like it in the old catalogues somewhere on this site thought they looked good and I'm very pleased with them!

I've had an ELC A2 for approx' 30 years, I have Aero as well and until recently had no problems but one day stupidly wore a large watch with a sparpish bezel and that spoiled the cuff on one side, I think ELC knits are as good as anyones and certainly more authentic than some others, usually if...
It hasn't been mentioned yet but I avoided a D1 because the zip pockets have a tendency to scratch your watch, although it's not a problem if you don't wear one.

Edward,
I dont think the Campbell Cooper one is the same as the Speedwell jacket, however both are made in England, I have a different model Campbell Cooper waxed cotton and I'm very pleased with it, the material is certainly thicker than Barbour and I've never had any water come through.

Nice jacket but it looks like a rehash of the old Belstaff jackets, in the UK Campbell Cooper do a very similar version (maybe not with such fine detailing. but still very nice) for £60.00.

I don't think Sebago are a French company, I believe they are American, and they do make excellent Deck Shoes, I got a few pairs of the Horween leather ones in their sale and they were good value for money!

This is actually a news report from Border Television (a local television channel covering Cumbria and the south of Scotland), and I believe the female interviewer is Fiona Armstrong who went on to become famous as a National News Reader .
