    The BORSALINO BROTHERHOOD

Got this one last week. Unfortunately, this brim width work work for me. It will be available, if anyone needs a 7 1/8. It's actually a dark green. - Andrew

    Post New Hats Here!

Thanks, guys. It was really cool to find them in my own backyard. I got them from a buddy who bought them years ago at a well respected doctor's estate sale. We found them tucked away in his garage. He had long since forgotten about them. Boy, am I glad to have been there helping him organize...

    Post New Hats Here!

Got this Stetson a couple weeks ago but just got around to dusting it off. And this Borsalino showed up a couple days ago. Destined for another noggin, as the brim length is not flattering to my currently "more rounded" face. Lol. - Andrew

    "Faded ring" around hat crown...

That is plausible. I just wonder why the color is always faded, instead of stained. - Andrew

    "Faded ring" around hat crown...

Well, poop. Has anyone figured out how it happens, exactly? Also, I was thinking about trying out some Naphtha on the hats. I guess it won't make much difference on this one. - Andrew

    "Faded ring" around hat crown...

How would it be the sweat band when there is no evidence on the inside liner or felt? This hat has very little evidence of having been sweated in compared to other hats I have. - Andrew

    "Faded ring" around hat crown...

Like this. I've noticed it on a couple hats. - Andrew

    "Faded ring" around hat crown...

Has anyone else experienced a faded ring around the crown on an old felt hat? I'm assuming it is from storage. Maybe something the cardboard does to the felt over time? Either way, I would like to be rid of this on one of my hats. Has anyone figured out a remedy to cure this? Thank you. - Andrew

    1940's-50's Adam 2 3/8" brim Fedoras - Size 7

I would say they are a bit undersized. My lady is a 6 7/8 long oval. I can guinea pig her tonight. - Andrew

    1940's-50's Adam 2 3/8" brim Fedoras - Size 7

These hats were rumored to be old stock left over from a shop that closed many moons ago. I am likely the first to snap the brims down in the last 50-60 years. The felt on these hats is nice and able to be shaped. They are not floppy at all. Brims down. #1 #2 - Andrew

    1940's-50's Adam Fedora - Size 7 - 2 3/4" brim, shark's gill ribbon

The felt is nice and able to be shaped. I used "buttery" as more of a textural description. I can almost guarantee you that I am the first to snap the brim down. It may be a little snug as a 7 but keep in mind that this hat has probably not been worn in about 60 years. The sweat band is nice and...

    6 3/8 - 6 1/2 1940's-50's Adam Executive Quality Fedora

Yes, it is that small. I bought this as "NOS" and I believe it to be true. Perfect for a child or perhaps a lady with a small head. Tagged as 6 1/2 but likely shrunk a bit to a 6 3/8 while in storage 19 7/8" inner circumference 2 3/8" bound brim 1 3/4" ribbon with added detail Wind trolley...
