    There’s 2 things I wanted to try to match the hat better than my Campdraft: 1. No taper 2. Thinner dress weight felt Doing those deep creases on something with too much of a taper or on too thick of felt just doesn’t work in my experience.

    Thanks to the bad influence of this forum, I ordered a Gannon hat months ago. It came yesterday: It's a dress weight Whiskey with a rust ribbon and binding. I got it to put a crease in it similar to the Medford Man from Double Indemnity. Wish me luck.

    Was visiting some friends in Denver and briefly got to go vintage shopping. Found the oldest gabardine western jacket I've ever seen and it was in my size. Excellent shape and was sold cheap "as-is" because of some minor stains that I don't care about. Anyway, wearing this beauty today!
