I agree with @Fonzie. I had a hooch hauler made from jerky HH and it was excellent. I now have a PHWM in Vicenza and the drape on it works for me. My last CXL HH was a barnstormer, which I had for 20 years. It was a brilliant coat but when cold the leather would always stiffen up.
Loved his Aero highwayman pictures. One of the reasons I got one eventually. Not sure if there are many online forums that would show the respect and outpouring of goodwill that this one has done. Good to be a part of it. RIP HD.
You've piqued my interest and its a jacket I like. A P2P of 19" seems small for a size 40 along with 22" sleeves. Am I missing something here? I had size 38 Hooch Hauler with a P2P of 21" and sleeves of 24".
I was lucky to own this after @Mich486, for a while. One of the best jackets I've had, unfortunately middle age spread had other plans for me. I still toy with buying another one.
