This Rainbow Country Rough Wear repro is on its way
The RC is remarkably slimmer than my size 46 RMC A-2 (below) by the measurements, so it should fit me better. If this turns out so, I'll let the RMC go next week.
Mine has a straight yoke across the shoulders and a flip-side kidney panel to add some weight and make the hem sit firmly on the back. Have liked the construction and it also differs nicely from my Cafe Racers' back panels.

I would also recommend tumbled CXL. The leather has been given an extra tumbling to break it in and give it much softer finish compared to regular, stiff and shiny CXL.
Based on my experience of Aero's offerings, the difference is clear, both in terms of stiffness and looks.

As others have pointed out, making leather jackets is a very different endeavour to working with textiles. And with leather jackets, we're talking about outerwear: you can wear jackets with different layers underneath, and kind of adjust the sizing...
