    Aero FQHH "heavy wear"....

I have several leather jackets in several hides and shapes....but in this moment of my life Aero's FQHH patina and heavyness is something close to perfection to me...it really touches my heart to see my Aeros getting older as I am trying to do...getting better and still strong

    BROOKS Leather Sportswear, Detroit

Hi loungers, a friend of mine has found this jacket in his father's house....Could you help us trace its period and value? The leather is good all around and shows no signs of stress...only the lining needs repair?

Ask a Question, Get An Answer About Outerwear

I prefer Tanaka's book...but I am a huge fan of Rin....I love his point of view and I am collecting all of his books. another great one is "Harley Davidson book of fashion 1910-1950s". Lightning of course is always worthy...I am collecting them as well, but I prefer Tanaka's editing.

FS: Lost Worlds two-tone Trojan sz 40

I still think this is an USA Evis, not the japanese one....I am afraid that Yamane-San wasn't producing in USA....

FS: Lost Worlds two-tone Trojan sz 40

Maybe the "made in" label could help us solve the riddle...I know that Yamane-san was merely focused on denim, not leather, and that "Evis" label doesn't sound coherent (to me) with their graphic... But I'd like to be wrong and to discover a true gem

FS: Lost Worlds two-tone Trojan sz 40

You say there is an EVISU label....but I see "Evis"....EvisU is an Osaka (Japan) denim brand, actually one of the Osaka Five...are you sure we are talking about the same brand??

    Cal Leather restored. Any suggestions?

Thank you. I have used Pecard for vintage leathers and I have to say that it's been pretty effective...The once cardboard dry leather is now soft and buttery...I couldn't imagine a better result. But I will try Skidmore as well!

    Cal Leather restored. Any suggestions?

Hi loungers, many asked me to post the CAL I've bought a few weeks ago...I was just waiting for my Pecard to arrive and let it soak properly....I really love this piece, I think it's a keeper (Serval front zip, Talon on the sleeves)

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

I am waiting for: - brand new Aero Windward in FQHH - Thedi shearling vest Then I have bidded for a vintage Aero motorcycle jacket in FQHH quite beaten (terrific) and waiting for an Ebay seller to send measurements of a (presumable) quilted Cal... I guess this is more than enough...:) :) :)

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Today, chiller weather...time to let my '80s Aero Longshoreman take some fresh air before summer hits. Sorry for the lo-fi photos... I still believe that, for old fashioned guys like me (inspired by 30s, 40s and 50s), Aeros have the best fit ever...short, boxy and aggressive

The Legendary DURABLE (Wild One) Jacket

Schott also put on the market a "James Dean" repro...when everybody knew that the original one was a CAL....Bad choice imho....
