This is for a Beaver Black Sheep's model Goldfinch. 4 1/2 inch crown in front. with a 2 1/2 inch brim with binding. and a 2 inch ribbon. so living in Pittsburgh I have not purchased any expensive Panama hats.. we have lots of wind (sometimes very strong) and 3 rivers with lots of water hungry for Panama hats........The wind today is gusting to 20 mph and although I have chased more than my share of Fedoras and an occasional...- Ordinary Guy

I have had same kind of problems with them.... The hat I got had a shorter brim and different ribbon, packaging had been cut open.....Luckily the slice missed the hat..... They said ship it back but would not pay for the shipping. instead of replacing the hat with what I ordered they said keep...- Ordinary Guy

You did better than me on one of the bad times i had..they told they had the hat I wanted and then shipped something totally different.. when I complained they tried to discount the price to me.... with $40 shipping back and forth the hat can get a bit more expensive that advertised......... you...- Ordinary Guy

This a 7 1/4 fit...... the original factory size label is still there behind the leather sweatband.... The V V L is Very Very Light weight felt.... and you already know how wonderful the normal Dobbs twenty felt is, this one is buttery soft.
