I've been to the factory in Fallriver a couple times, and I think the models are staff and family members. They really are a tiny operation and those jacket prices have in no way kept up with inflation. I can't imagine they have any kind of advertising budget.- VansonRider

Hi Peter! The Dakar is a Hein Garicke, not a vanson, but its a great coat with it's own following.
