I couldn't tell you about the quality of their current hats, because I don't have one. No doubt they still produce very fine hats, but I think it wouldn't make much sense for them to strive for "vintage" quality felts. The fur trade is only a fraction of what it once was and there no longer...

Collins&Fairbanks Co extra quality fedora in grey. Size 57 or 58 (not quite sure) with the bound brim a smidge under 7cm and the crown at an impressive 11,5cm at the center dent. There is a small label with a 5 on inside of the sweatband, but you can just about see the 1/8 on the lower right...
