Took a chance on this. It's a Fred E. Weakley. Anyone heard of that brand?
It's got a 5 1/2 inch open crown, 2 3/8 brim with an overwelt, 1 3/4 ribbon. The felt is thick.
Oh, and it has several moth nibbles, although they aren't readily noticeable.

Thanks, Anthony. I agree. Now, if only I could get the grandchildren to move closer. We have one in Virginia and three in Beijing, China. That's just plain ridiculous. :)
Enjoying a final day with my granddaughter before she goes back to Virginia. Wearing my modern Stratoliner.
The wedding was fantastic. Here's my son and his bride on Saturday, moments after getting hitched.

Pre-wedding stress levels are rising almost as fast as the temperature. My son and I sneaked out to find him some good sandals for the honeymoon in the Bahamas. That's a Cuenca on my head.

Thank you! I'm happy to say he's marrying someone I work with, a wonderful young lady I've grown quite fond of over the last couple of years.
I'm also happy because, if this hadn't worked out, one of us probably would be looking for a new job now, just to avoid the awkwardness.
