The Barbisio name was licenced to be made in the USA during the late 1980's by Bollman and also in Columbia SA by Puerto Fino Hats. You can easily tell the differences between the Italian version and the other two. -

Kleinhans was a famous department store in Buffalo NY . Its long gone. They sold a lot of Borsalino hats . I was able to email the grandaughter of the hat buyer years agothat ran the hat dept. She sent me a lot of interesting things that her family had .
