Seems like lots of costumers source from RRL. I saw this really cool shirt jacket from His Dark Materials only to find out it was RRL and, of course, insanely expensive.
Last time I listened to non-sports radio was probably 15 years ago now. Prior to bluetooth being in every car I had this little FM transmitter hooked up to my iPod that would broadcast to a frequency I'd tune my car radio to and listen to music that way. It wasn't great but it worked alright...
I'm a bit different since I'm only 35 and have never owned an automatic. I never really went out of my way to purchase one its just the cars were about 1.5k cheaper with manual and for a broke college kid that's important. When I finally had money I bought my WRX and really wanted this in...
Wanted to follow up on this since my shirts arrived. I should clarify however I bought the henley t-shirts (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002362626221.html) not the crew necks.
Long story short these are the best shirts I've ever seen for $30. If you told me this was made by a Japanese...
Somewhat inspired by the favorite jackets thread on TFL and a conversation in the what are you wearing thread about zips I thought this may be a fun thread to talk about if you could frankenstein together a jacket of all your favorite parts what would it be? Aplogies if this has already been...
I haven't. There was a member here I can't remember who has had both and claimed the build quality of the double rider was better than the delraiser but I have a very difficult time beliving that. Looking at Rivet and Hide the hardware seems identical. 1.3mm semi-aniline teacore sounds like...
Aye I am pretty reluctant to zip up my RMC because it is hookless. Where my Flat Heads use a modern zip so I don't need to think about it. I do like the look of the hookless (I'm surprised companies don't put the metal eyelets but with a modern zip) but I'd trade it anyday for the convenience...
I thought the same until I tried to wear my 1Ks with dress pants. I thought it looked horribly out of place. Maybe it could be pulled off if they were newer, shinier and less beat up. This is even with 1K Addisons which have a fancier toe cap.
Aero makes a good product at a competitive price. It feels altlier made with the "Made By" nametag you get and you can customize the jacket to your taste. I can understand the appeal.
I guess you could get something belted if those measurements are changing that drastically all the time. My recommendation would be having huge changes like that such that jackets will or will not fit is overall not a very healthy lifestyle, though.
Aye it may depend on if you get your height from your torso or legs but I'd be nervous about the length of the jacket being on the shorter side if I was any taller. I was a bit on the fence myself but luckily my Flat Head CR is the exact same body length down to the cm.
I also agree with the...
Not the ideal time to buy a jacket with the heat coming in to SoCal lately but my Nelson arrived yesterday. Not much to add about the jacket that hasn't been said but I wanted to add my fit pics for anyone looking into this one.
Size 38. 5'9" 145lb 39in chest. I really like the fit. Could...
About 10 years or so ago I could get most retailers to undervalue the package. These days I haven't found a single one who is willing to do it. I don't even ask anymore.
I wonder how much the shapeless boxyness comes from the model pics being brand new 1.5mm horsehide. My TFH is 1.3mm and that thing is insanely rigid and it just kind of hung off me for a while but now that its broken in it adapts more to my shape.
Thanks for the link. Its far too biker aestetic than what she wants. I think this brown suede biker jacket is very close aestetically to a jacket she admired on Reese Witherspoon from The Morning Show. The two share somewhat similar dimensions so she regularly cops her style. No clue on...
My wife has been looking for something pretty much exactly like this. But for a ladies small this seems somewhat on the large size. 19" shoulders and 24" arms. Don't think it'll work on her 5'2" frame.
I have a 40 Delraiser as well and my measurements are similar to Merv's. 52cm p2p, 46cm shoulder.
You can see my thread here: https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/the-flat-head-delraiser-2021-edition.103795/
Note that I typically wear a size 40 in TFH if I'm wearing the shirt closed and 38...
I can't speak for the quality quite yet since they're still on the way to me but I bought 3x of these Red Tornado shirts the other day. They seem to have a somewhat shorter length you're looking to get. Its my first dip into the Chinese repro scene so I'm anxious to compare the quality to the...
