    This Sportclad arrived at my proxy in Japan. Also a Bates BAJ-A1 a repro of their 70s model. These are not made in USA despite the tag but licensed product of Bates Japan. A shop on yahoo jp is getting rid of these at half price.

    Short version is they removed the tab for oxygen mask, added pocket flap then removed the flap, changed to orange lining. Those are the obvious differences I think. Well, the zippers vary due to the era and maker.
