I'd worry more about the length. If you google, you will see one of our members posted photo of him wearing a XL b-10 on another forum. He is 5'10 and from the size chart, the 2XL is only one cm longer than the XL. Unless they lengthened the pattern recently, it is likely to be too short for you.
Both of my 60s-70s Cal are light weight compared to my 90s AL. The Al is thicker than Vanson competition weight and harder than a Lost World. 60 and 70s Cal seem to be easy wearing type. I am not sure they are fit for heavy duty as a CHP jacket.

Thank you. It is actually on the small side. 18 inches shoulder but 19.5 inches P-to-P. Seller missed the P-to-P by an inch therefore I cannot zip up. May fit you better but for the short sleeves.
