    Anything slippery like rayon or silk or anything soft and comfortable like brushed cotton flannel. Wool body liner with cotton flannel or moleskin sleeves are nice too. I hate cotton drill. It's stiff, uncomfortable, and rough in some cases. Pretty much any option is better than that.

    I would say that for the most part, yes it does lower the excitement for me. With that said, it depends on the specific item and the situation surrounding it. If it's something that I know I desperately want and basically know what the wait time will be at the outset and am willing to wait...

    It looks a little tight in the chest when zipped, but not horribly so. How tight does it feel? If you can still move around, I'd probably keep it.
