This one is available again from me. I bought it and it is indeed a beautiful jacket, but doesn't quite fit me as I wanted. Asking the same price as Terry. Just trying to get back what I put into it.
One jacket is pretty difficult to get through the whole year especially somewhere with large temperature swings.
In this case, I'd say a peacoat is probably the best choice. Buzz Ricksons is a great option for that.
@ton312 's loss is my gain. Overall, vintage jackets do tend to be shorter which is working out wonderfully for me. I can even buy jackets that are verging on being too large and they're still not too long for me which I quite enjoy.
As @jeo mentioned, there are longer vintage half belts out...
Thanks very much for the kind words. I appreciate it! The color and condition are what attracted me to the jacket. I almost bought a similar piece at Inspiration, but the condition was far worse. I'm glad I waited for this one. Blue suede isn't exactly common, but I think its still quite...
Finally got some decent photos of my suede Hercules to post.
As I said previously, I know this is not a popular style here or anywhere for that matter and this does fit a little large/slouchy on me, but I kinda dig it. It's not meant to be a slim fitting jacket and it's comfortable as heck and...
Good to learn that fairly quickly. The leather on your jacket looks quite nice anyway! You can always have the sleeves adjusted later anyway. The rest of the jacket fits spot on. Love it
Looks nice. Sleeves are a little long, but hopefully they'll tunnel up a bit.
I think we're all jealous that you actually got a Good Wear... I know I am! Beautiful stuff.
Haha thanks! I really enjoyed wearing them on the trip
They are Grant Stone. I like them a lot. I look at them as summer engineers. Still laceless and easy to slip on and off quickly.
That final jacket is a solid fit. I'd say the time was well spent. I'm an A2 fan. A lot of people on here are not as it's not a flattering jacket which I agree with. That said, I think it's cool as long as it doesn't fit like a potato sack. Yours actually looks pretty close to a period correct...
Yeah that probably explains everything a bit more. As I said, I hope I am wrong and that you are being fully genuine. It seems more and more that you are and I apologize. I think some of your wording made things seem a bit more disingenuous than you intended or perhaps I simply read things...
Nome of this is adding up. If the OP is an experienced vintage reseller, why did he not already know what the jacket is worth and why did he need to come on here to ask us about the value? That makes absolutely no sense to me.
I apologize if myself and others are being harsh, but this all...
You came on here basically to get info on how much you csn sell this jacket thay you just got which is pretty lame. Plus, your extremely passive aggressive attitude is irking many including myself. If you really cared about jackets, you would have joined here and interacted with the community...
Nice fit! I wish my Aero A1 had fit me like that. Looks slim, but if it's comfortable, then it's a good fit. Looks nice on you.
Yes, the wool on rmc and rainbow country is nicer. I've owned knit cuff jackets from all three. The fact that it fits you well and the price you paid should make you...
