Thank you, this is helpful as I'm also on that 42/44 border. I like the broad shoulders of the 44, but the sleeve length is a bit long. How long did it take to receive?
Fully customized and exact specifications are a two way street. I gave them, but they ignored them. Mine wasn't even fully customized. Just a tweak or two. Even the pictures they send you before delivery can be doctored/misleading, as mine were.
Wasn't familiar with "Beams, United Arrows, Journal Standard..." I googled a few searches, nothing really stood out yet. Are these popular / quality brands?
How do you order Rainbow Country direct from the factory?
Cool stuff. Unfortunately, there are two camps in the world (according to me). Those who can pull off a D-Pocket. And those who can't. I'm in the "can't." Everytime I pass a reflection, I would burst out in giggles.

Thanks! This is helpful, will have to look into the Columbo and Rainbow Country connection!
UPDATE--
I saw this on another forum. Seems a steep price if true.
"Colimbo is the low cost outlet/version of The Real McCoy‘s and mostly made in China but labeled ( and marketed via/ ) in Japan…(...
As an Asian-American, I'm going to pass on this. Mostly. But congratulations on your Asian studies and keen "Japan-Fetish" radar. You busted me/us! Unfortunately, I'm in the throes of a serious Japanese leather fetish... having weaned myself off my depraved Scottish Leather fetish. Where's...
Relax, dude. No one's trying to trap anyone. I don't even have time or the inclination to dissect this word salad. I don't care enough. I rather spend time making out with my wife. Jeez, this is like a worm hole back to the 90's with flame wars et al.
Have you seen the prices of used Aero jackets on Yahoo Japan Auctions? They're not expensive at all. I would say, probably cheaper than the used Aero's in US. Used McCoy and FreeWheeler and Rainbo Jackets still command premium prices on the Japanese used market.
I'm not really in love with it, but it was on the top of the pile for a bunch of new toys to play with. Just wanted to share a pic. Looking forward to going through the whole list!
But if I'm being honest, I've never been into Vanson. Just doesn't look refined to me, I guess. I don't ride...
Interesting. It looks like they use a lot of goat skin. And more interesting... I may have read that it was made in the US?
I would definitely like to know who's making this cut and style in the US! No need to send this jacket on a round trip!
Anyone have recommendations for Japanese Jackets that are not one of the "heavy hitters" : McCoys, FreeWheelers, Rainbow Country, Double Helix, Y'2.
I've heard and looked into Fine Creek. I'm sure there's more out there!
