Does anyone here have experience with their version of the J100?
I’m kicking around the idea of getting something in this style for next winter and the degree of customization and strong patterns with movement range of JL is very appealing, but it’s not a style I’ve seen them do a lot of.
Fwiw: I think the body length looks good - just need to wear higher-waisted jeans with this one. However, the sleeve length would be a deal-breaker for me.
It’s fun to find used bargains, but sometimes it’s better to order custom once and get the fit you are looking for.
Same here! I am still tempted to buy them just to strut around the house when the family are out, playing air guitar or posing for some dumb-ass fake IG pic. or I could buy a motorcycle helmet to carry around with me when I wear them on the three Texas days cool enough to wear them out of the...

I am on Team Vic over here, but I think a lot depends on the colour you want (Badalassi has some wonderfully rich and deep shades of brown). Also agree that goat would be really nice for this, though every picture you see is the battered seal:
How long was the wait for this?
Somebody is going to get a great deal here. The measurements look ideal for me, but I have an order in with Aero for something similar already. Otherwise I’d be seriously tempted!
That’s a hell of a gift to five star, letting them use an original like that to copy the pattern. I can see many folks ordering them, if they get it right. I bet Greg Field would love to get his hands on that, as well.
I’m trying to get more wear on my Benzein engineers so they don’t look so brand new, but most weekdays I am either in Dayton service boots or some form of RM Williams jodhpur boot:
The leather has some beautiful grain, but it can look sort of platicky in some lights. The yellow core doesn’t look great, but you can tone it down with a little oil when it shows through.
I’d probably lean towards the Badalassi as well.
