saw this on IG this morning. So excited. I'm going to have him measure my collar so he can make another shearling (or whatever material he uses) detachable. I was going to do it over email, but was so nervous about getting the measurements wrong and all that.
I'm really supportive of Greg. I was probably in his first 100 jackets made. I can really respect someone trying to make a business in the worst of covid and I think it's just a cool thing to support artisans. I got in line for #2 about 18 months ago because it seemed ridiculous to pay $3000...
looking good. glad it's seeing daylight.
edit: btw, it's horween. Supposedly CXL, but not like any other CXL I handled. Feels more Lux like. Definitely has more softness and not the usual waxy stiff CXL. But there's still some there, so some sort of chrome/waxy tanning.
Love this, especially in black. Currently I'm in purge mode, but I've got a few things on a wish list if one ever pops up at a decent price. This is for sure on it.
Spring cleaning time.
2 RRL jackets in the Lee 101j style (dark and faded color), basically this https://stagprovisions.com/products/rrl-lot-271-denim-jacket-fw19
and original Lee prob late 1970s version in pretty good shape, little wear on collar but no tearing, etc.
All of them fit me at...
Yeah sun light definitely makes it more of a murky pond kind of color. Starts off more on the pine tree scale. I've got a few different shades going. I'm sure with more time and wears, it'll even out and get a little darker, but I don't know about black.
Here's a recent pick with about 25...
ok, last bump. One happy customer already. Lets try and get another. If you a size 33 in "mall" type jeans, you getting a great deal and helping a great charity in the process. LMK, otherwise these are headed to local shelter next few days.
Get it wet and hang it in the hot sun (once summer comes along). You'll get at least half size shrink and because of the buttons, you don't have to worry about wavy zipper.
So this worked out pretty well. One package out and $100 on the way to St. Judes. Thanks.
Here's what's left:
2 pair of BR 34 x 32 med fade blue
9 pairs of mostly BR 33 x 30 in various shades of blue, black, and gray. Some slim cut, some skinny.
I'll give it another couple weeks.
no problem, the sleeves on my 44 are at about the limit for me. They will come up maybe a half inch with wear, creases, etc. so will be fine.
I don't think the tailor measurement will help you unless you fully understand how the jacket measurement is made so you can compare apples to apples...
Yes check classifieds. Size 46 will fit you perfect. I have size 44 and I am about 15 kilos less than you.

J24L is fantastic jacket, especially for taller people. Full action back will help with your broad size
I have 3 RMC jackets and the leather seems to be different for each,, even though they are all teacore. By far, the nicest for me is the JH1. More oily but not in an overly shiny kind of way, beautiful grain, very nice drape. Very easy to wear even though it's the tightest of specs because...
So this will probably be a long shot and more an exercise in faith, but I've got like 10+ pairs of mostly Banana Republic jeans, maybe a couple pairs of Levis and Abercrombie. 80% are slim cut and the rest some form of skinny (not quite elf pants though). Black, gray, every possible faded...
Don't have it, seen it on the site, looks nice. Re: sizing, here's what I found on Bronson stuff. It shrinks a lot. So if you plan on ever washing and putting in dryer, I'd go up one size. Otherwise, compare the measurements to your preferred fitting jacket in your closet. Most important...
