This one was supposed to be a gift for the wife, but she did not want an expensive bag with no zippers :)
Handcrafted in Canada from a particularly grainy batch of Horween Natural CXL
Bag is brand new & never used. Couple of fingernail scratches due to transportation and nature of the CXL...
Does Aero have a design which can incorporate shoulder gussets or full bi swing back(other than cafe racer/board racer)
I am interested in the 1930s halfbelt, but I don't think it can be ordered with gussets
Thanks @TartuWolf
Indeed the brown leather on your TG looks dope. Which one is it?
I am also interested in a TG in natural horsehide. Hopefully SB can muster some natural CXL steerhide from Horween, it may turn out to be my dream project!
Thanks everyone
@jonbuilder certainly less boxy than a HWM. In fact the taper is quite strong from a 23" chest to 21" hem
The Epsom horsehide is nice, and quite similar to CXL. I am not quite able to point out the precise differences, both are more similar than different in terms of hand...
I had been thinking about getting a collared highwayman style jacket for a while. A somewhat limited budget did not present many options. Although I loved the Idaho, I did not want to venture into Field Leathers territory owing to the wait times as well the price
Aero was the first choice, I...
Catch & release. Inspite of my best efforts, these remain atleast half a size larger. I tried putting in a Dr. Scholl's gel insole to make them fit better. It certainly helped, but still not the fit I would expect from such an exclusive pair
They are in the same condition as received, which is...
Definitely an inch short. Return if you can!
Board Racer (seven is collared version of BR). I have realized this model is generally too tight in the right size. Probably because of higher armpits. Not a very comfortable pattern
Well I certainly did not expose it to any elements
I try to avoid water exposure to my jackets, although that doesn’t work all the time. I understand this doesn’t really sync with how leather jackets are supposed to be used, and most forum members love to give their leather a water bath. I...
That’s right. Its a find in that size. Can’t thank @jonbuilder enough for this one!
@ton312 Looks like we are talking about two completely different batches of leather. I recently handled an almost new horsehide jacket-P620H, which I sold on the lounge rather quickly. Couldn’t come around to...
Yup, $730 with the new customer 15% discount
I have the Schott 628US D pocket which I love, & generally not a fan of in house Schott horsehide, but the rave reviews about the jacket in this thread make the price look like a deal!
