I did not notice any blood stains. I woulder if someone shot their jacket after a few drinks or was wearing the jacket and took a bullet? Does anyone want to ask the seller?
edit I went ahead and asked the seller myself.
If it was larger I would have to break my non-buying jacket streek It would hang next to my cream J-100
edit: I believe the word is out so we will not see it being listed here in 6 months for $1,600
I concur with Jmax. about the leather and stitching. Yes, I do have more jackets than I can give regular wear, and some I keep for social events not cutting trees, running my dog, or working the property or in my shop. But I am not averse to wearing a 70-year-old leather jacket as it was...
d
definitely, it would be too tight for you in the chest and arms, and with the length and hem it is tight at my hips
What interested buyers need to consider is that as beautiful as the heavy CXL HH is, it does not make for comfortable snug-fitting jackets.
The STF Bootlegger is cut for lanky...
How about $600? Beautiful CXL horsehide, moderately heavy, still stiff, pull-up color is developing. This is the nicest brown CXL HH I have handled from Aero. The fit just does not work for me.
Best wishes to you Ken, and your family. Hope you have a full and speedy recovery. You are a true pioneer of the mid-20th century US leather jacket reproduction renaissance.
If you did not buy this jacket on eBay and it is not the jacket that Tek is referring to that did sell on eBay, you could clear the issue by showing where and from whom you did buy the jacket. IMO using TFL to flip a jacket for 200% profit is questionable but not outside of boundaries...
