A few weeks ago I received an RM Williams (Akubra) "Thoroughbred"(not the new one) which I posted earlier in the thread...... While I like it, it needed a good horsehair band (which I added), but I was still unsure. Looked to disproportional and tapered. THEN I decided to entirely re-block... -

Arrived yesterday. Unmarked save the R M Williams brand I presume an Akubra, and possibly from the 80's or later, when they went all in on the longhorn branding (not sure when they changed logos again). Model is the "Thoroughbred" which today is an altogether different hat. It had a two cord... -
