@TelemarkTumalo
Thanks! You only get a try-on/fit jacket if you go through Thurston bros. If you buy directly from Aero (like I did) you just get a jacket and maybe an exchange/remake if it does not work out once you get it.
@SlimJim
Thank you! Before I bought mine I saw one member posting...

Near mint Vanson Comet in size 40. 200eu from France. If that is not a "deal" then I don't know what is.

Rainy, windy and dreary day. Going for my daily walk with the stroller while the kid sleeps.
My "black outfit". As I only have 2 leather jackets at the moment.
This one that I wear with black boots.
And a brown Aero Hooch Hauler that I wear with brown boots.

That's why I'm wondering whether these pants are very low rise / hanging low / drooping. Highwayman does seem like a style that works strictly only with high to very high rise pants unless you're okay with the belt poking out under the bottom hem all the time.
Usually I determine whether the jacket is too long or not mainly in relation to the jeans. If it goes past the back pockets then it's too long. But in this case the bottom hem is way above the back pockets, even above the yoke in some pictures. So from that perspective it does NOT seem too long...
For reference I'm:
33.5" over belt (wearing the actual belt that I use with jackets).
31" waist around belly button level
36" chest
5'8" height
120-125lbs
So far I've found out that I'm closer to a size 34 than a size 36. Closer to XS than to S.
With 36" chest I aim for ~19.5"-20" pit-to-pit /...
Hey folks! I recently got a Vanson model B size 34 in Z150 leather. Love how it fits apart from the 63cm length. Not s big fan of nickel hardware either. Thicker leather would be nice too.
Found this recently:

it was 23000yen or...
Well it's not only the grain pattern (which is more common) but rather the drastically different color/shade. Definitely not saying it's bad or negative, just very unique.
All these posts about WL boots are making me seriously consider giving them a shot. Seems like I'll be in the UK for a few days in 4-5 months. Could avoid import fees by picking them up locally.. And if they work with CXL and do custom configurations.. Tempting!
Same here. I have a pair of very nice and comfy US8 blacksmith boots, but those are only for warm weather and very thin socks. The rest of my Red Wings are 8.5US. How was the 41 compared to RW 8.5US length and width (especially toe box) wise? You already mentioned the low instep.
Thank you for the review Mark! I've been thinking about these for quite some time, but decided that if I ever go for a more expensive (compared to the usual 100-150eu used Red Wings that I buy) pair of engineers I'd really want ones with an unstructured toe.
Good news (to me) - they are working...
