^^^ To Edward and the other guys who like to stash a little extra cash on them, I have a leather "money" belt. It is a very thick leather belt with a zipper on the inside. It says it can handle about 20 bills that are neatly folded. The company is Bullhide belts.
I also like the idea of a...
I really love Perfectos. I wear mine for M/C use and fashion. I have a size 46 horsehide and a size 44 steerhide. Really like both. Both were really stiff when new (the hh might have been a tad stiffer). I got impatient with the horsehide and threw it in the washer with cold water and then the...
Never liked fringe at all. I would never wear it. I have to agree with Carlos and Will Zach. I seriously doubt a little strip of fringe along the arms and upper back is going to keep anyone drier. I also agree with Will, I associate fringe with women's jackets. To me, it is more of a feminine...
Looks badass OneHead. Thats about how my 618 size 44 fits me. The more you wear it, the more it will break in and relax. Give it some serious time. I put on a thicker hoodie on, under the jacket, in the house and it breaks in quite nice. Then when you wear just a t shirt, it feels like you have...
Get well soon Tree. It sucks getting old. lol. We have to pay for all the heavy stuff we lifted when we were younger. The older you get, the smarter you have to work. Be careful with the pain meds, they made me a little loopy. And I still agree with you, the new comp. weight SUCKS ASS. lol.
Nice find on your jacket. I never get tired of seeing motorcycles and motorcycle jackets. You have a nice collection of both.
I like my summer jackets to fit snug. I open the lapels and zippered pockets and sleeves and let the air in. A slightly bigger jacket in the summer tends to balloon up...
My Vanson hardcore highwayman has the #10 zippers on top of the sleeves. I do think it is a bit of an overkill on the sleeves. I am thinking it is more for aesthetic reasons.
Looks like you have some great looking zippers in your possession. Plus with the sentimental value, you really can't go...
I like the upgrades @Bahabp100. Can't see the eagles or beads though. I love seeing these perfectos with added patches, pins, badges and add-ons. Looking good.
I think you are right navetsea. I have gotten a few of my NEW jackets soaking wet. When they were about 75% dry, I would wear them the rest of the day. They had massive "creases of the gods" right after. Unfortunately, the creases slowly dissipated to creases of mortals.
How would you compare the 888 vs the 634? I also have an "unsporty build" and any kind of slim or skinny fit would not work. Can you still wear boots with the 888s? Do the 888s still have enough room in the top block and thighs compared to the 634s?
Thanks DoubleH. I have never ordered from Japan. I would be a little hesitant. Self edge has 15% off. IH 634s plus hemming was $312 out the door. A pretty hefty price, but I just have to try them.
I haven't tried Unbranded yet, but I am pleased with my Brave Star selvedge. It looks like they...
Not a jacket, but a pair of jeans. I am joining the Iron Heart army. I finally gave into the curiosity of IH. I really had a hard time talking myself into a 350-dollar pair of jeans. But technically it is a pair of safety gear for the m/c, right? Plus, they have a motorcycle on their leather...
