    In my experience the SJ toebox fits noticeably tighter than the SD/55, which helps explain your sense of sizing with these I expect. Leather looks good!

    Thanks for those pics. I meant the measurement of the actual heel.. but it looks like it’s a standard 6 inch boot shaft, and since you describe it as 8 inches I’ll assume the heel is 2 inches?
