Nudie started doing Roys outfits in the very late 40s early 50s from what i"ve found. Maybe he wasnt into hats at the time this one was made? The Nudies hats from the Roy Roger auctions wasnt high quality hats. -

Thanks. I have seen the Nudies hats but they are a later made hat and usually a Resistol. If it is just a run of the mill hat has anyone else seen one? -

Yes, thats what i thought also but i cant find any information anywhere. I did find some closed auctions that claimed a hat with these marks come from the Roy Rogers museum. Just thought I would post here to pick the minds of the experts here.. -
