Tip Top totally right here. Never tried boots b/c I was tall and lanky already. I didn't need any more height, and though I like the way they looked I didn't think I could pull it off with my frame. I did the same thing. Always liked them but didn't have the gahunnas to pull them off (always dressed classic Polo). Decided worth try and went to EBay. I've admitted already that I've been "bitten"...addicted...or whatever...and my wife has as well....but I question trends...what I mean by this is that I am now wanting a pair of caiman..black...matte rather than shiny...mainly because I won't/don't wear boots with khakis or suits....only...- Bigfoot66

KY: I followed your lead a few years ago from this site...having never worn a boot in my life... and since have made 5 purchases--all on Ebay--so Miller, he's right on all accounts. But the only thing I'd suggest is either going to a store who sells these brands OR go to a place like Zappos...- Bigfoot66
