Yes, that's manual focus pull on a 50mm prime.
It's more what do you want to see in a video? Pocket detail, leather thickness, feel, grain etc.
There is a brown/brown grizzly on the way, looking forward to seeing he it looks..l
Yes, I made some videos for them as a case study for our fashion video line, but still trying to get to the bottom of what works, what doesn't, and it's a bit of a learning curve. But since visiting here some months ago, I've become a big fan of these jackets so hopefully that comes through (no...
I like the oil steer - this will be a winter jacket (not motorbike).
Quite like this one.

So I have a DirtRider in Horween black, below in the video (and love it)

But I'm now after a Grizzly. Black Horween or what other colour should I go for??
Will post pics of the DR when I have them!
The black Horween is nice - I've got the cafe racer (red lining) in it, Roadster (brown Horween) and Speigel (brown horween). My black norweigen horse hide roadster is good for summer (significantly lighter and good for me in London), and love my buffalo hide roadster with moleskin lining...
I'm looking at that GTIV and living it. If like Horween FQHH - do you think that will be used?
Steer hide though in black, tempting! Although I already have two roadsters, I'm thinking a Detroit in black!
No, not a factory second at all, just character in the leather I should have been clear - but I like that and I had dozens to choose from. They are both as good, although the moleskin in the buffalo is stunning.
Zips are different - I prefer the Talon, but the look of the Ykk...
Incredible...
So the first I bought was a full weight smooth brown steerhide, stood by itself on day 1. It had zip cuffs which I liked and fitted perfectly. White label and aside from a couple if small imperfections, pretty good. It has ykk zips.
Second was the full price jacket in Russet Buffalo. I tried...
I wasn't overly impressed, took my 2 year old and she loved it. Never been to NEC though. Funny thing was leather stand next to AL I had asked if they had horse hide jackets and the bloke told me illegal :D
Only ever spent a couple of hours at shows like these, prefer to be riding!
I'm a new poster (lurked, although never liked that term for quite a while).
I've bought two roadsters now from AL, guys opened shop on Sat just for me and spent a good two hours chatting about their biz and the jackets. Pretty impressed to be honest and I think they are in good hands with...
The drifter I great. For some reason reminds me of that famous Bob Dylan album cover.
I was looking at Aero for a few months, a "lurker" here until Sun. But I also by chance seen AL at the bike show, had no intention I buying and now have two AL jackets, a buffalo roadster and a brown heavy...
So I was at the factory and wanted to choose a roadster - the buffalo just stood out, it's beautiful in person. The weight is the same as my heavy steer roadster, so it seems heavier, if not slightly thinner than the steer.
I had a good look at the hides they used - the variance over the hide...
I've just picked up a heavy brown steerhide roadster and a roadster in russet buffalo which I picked up direct from the factory on Saturday.
Love them both. Had the first roadster for two weeks and only now starting to break in.
The russet buffalo us simply stunning. I recommend you try to...
