I for one, enjoy the show. The man seems genuinely repentant for his past crime (Murder), and seems to be genuinely concerned for the people he arrests. I love of his prayers and Christian aspects, though the show is inherrently not a Christian show by any means.
When does "kill them with...
Storing your Fedora
I came across this website while searching for a solution. Though it is not related to fedoras, it is relevant. The article, at the bottom, mentions to replace cedar chips every 3 months. Also, keeping it in an air tight container. The Target near me has snap-on, air...
I don't own a fedora yet (still looking for just the right one). I don't like feathers, it makes them look goofy like one gentleman mentioned. Also, a bird seeing a feather on my head...I don't need to give them a bullseye, once is enough for me.... Though, with a fedora, a poop bomb from that...
This country is the most obese country in the world, in no way will a child die of starvation because of a missed feeding. A person is at home far more than not, either carry a bottle or go somewhere private. What is socially acceptable here won't be somewhere else, therefore arguments that...
Ah, I knew John Lennon was still around. Matt, with absolute utmost respect, I humbly suggest you stick with fedoras. Fedoras suit you like nobody's business. Then again, I am not used to seeing a pic of you in a newsboy hat.
I like Roy Orbison's glasses, (he wore the same exact style...
Cary Grant
You scored 19% Tough, 4% Roguish, 23% Friendly, and 52% Charming!
You are the epitome of charm and style, the smooth operator who steals the show with your sophisticated wit and quiet confidence. You are able to catch any woman you want just by flashing that disarming smile. When...
Oh, crap. My grandfather has hundreds of pocketwatches that have been in storage for at least 20 years without being cleaned (to my knowledge.) Pray tell, how long does it take to clean one?
Not a direct connection Marc, but indirect. It's mostly the older people that wear fedoras, until the new crowd comes along... The older people are, more often than not, nothing short of gentleman. That is the assocation. There really should be no connection between politeness and fedoras...
To heck with the past 200 years. Look at the last 20 years and this generation of teenagers. This country is on the slickest grease pole to hell.
I'd like to add this also, the very few women that I have seen publicly breastfeed appeared to have done it for in your face reasons, due to what they were wearing, how they were acting, etc. Since that is all I've seen, I've made the incorrect assumption that women do that to make a statement...
There are a lot of rude people out there in general. IMHO, the people that are rude and wear fedoras sound like they are more into fedoras as a fashion statement, and not as a style, since a fedora represents class (again, IMHO). If they knew what the fedora was about, more likely they would...
I've never worn a fedora, now I want to know what I'm missing... I got a lot of comments on my newsboy hat. It's not actually a newsboy but a Kangol... And no , not like the backwards kind that Samuel Jackson made famous... Anyway, I got a lot of great comments with that. Can't wait till it...
It's all because of the apple my friend, Eve and the apple.... :D Actually I should be offended by my own statement, considering I am a devout born again Christian, but we need some humor in this thread at some point.
That is more along the lines of my thoughts. I realize that I am more conservative than a lot of people, so I hope no one is mad. I'm not one of those conservative people who protest and all that junk. Live and let die, live and learn, whatever...
I don't associate breastfeeding with 3rd...
I'm a conservative person, raised old-fashioned I guess. At the risk of starting a bonfire, I think it's nothing more than feminists group trying to assert themselves. Like I mentioned, I never see it in public, therefore it's not really an issue. I don't see any kind of breast feeding...
I completely ignore it. I'm offended by it but I also never see it. If it's a controversial subject that can't be agreed upon by a safe majority, or if itt's a subject that must be raised in a forum, then you shouldn't be doing it in public. However, it's better than having them cry that God...
Is it at the UGA stadium?
Not to hijack the thread, but -
Erk Russell died this morning. The defensive coordinator for UGA during Vince Dooley's reign. He also created the Georgia Southern (where I went) football program, and coached them to 3 national championships before retiring, and...
