    Astaire vs Kelly?

Fred Fred, hands down. Gene Kelly is an amazing modern dancer, but since I prefer ballet, I definitely prefer Fred's line. Also, I prefer him as an actor, and Irving Berlin said more than once that Fred was the voice he heard in his head as he composed his marvelous songs. As for Gene taking...

New Bond Film - Quantum Of Solace

Bond is a Dad/Daughter bonding experience! I second your observation, Gal. Dad was a huge Bond fan, and we watched each and every movie each and every time they were on. Even now, when I went to see Casino Royale, my dad was watching with me, and we made the occasional comment during the...

New Glarus *Swoons* I had the good fortune to taste New Glarus' Apple Ale at the Great American Beer Fest in Denver oh, at least 10 years ago. Then I personally grabbed everyone I could *by the arm* and made them try it. It won best fruit beer that year. Crisp, heavenly apple-y, like...

    Nero Wolfe

BAH, Flummery! Mr. Chaykin was a charlatan as the esteemed Mr. Wolfe. William Conrad did a much better, albeit still reprehensible, job of acting Mr. Stout's masterwork. I did, however, think Mr. Hutton did a workmanly job of portraying Archie. Ms Matchett was a delight, and certainly proved...

    GAMERS of the Lounge!

Games? I am a pathetic little panda, but I'm addicted to.. World of Warcrack Yea, I know. Slightly more vintage, I'm a cribbage addict and play 5 days a week at lunch. Call of Cthulhu was a favorite back in my TT days, and I own the original box set D&D (not AD&D).

    old time radio online

Online OTR I'm rather surprised that no-one has mentioned live365.com. I have a premium membership at $5 a month, but there are a ton of free channels. I have at least 30 or more OTR channels at my fingertips, at work and at home. OTR is under the spoken word category if you care to check it...
